Our HE students enjoyed a fun and productive trip to London last week.
The four-day trip was packed with a variety of different activities in the capital.
Students visited Wembley Stadium, the Olympic Stadium, the British Museum, the Imperial War Museum and notable landmarks such as Buckingham Palace and Trafalgar Square.

What’s been happening?
In football, The male first team beat Newcastle-under-Lyme College on penalties to reach the quarter finals of the ECFA National Cup. Billy Goose struck twice as the team came from two goals behind to take the game to extra time. Two great saves from Connor Hutchinson in the shoot-out sparked great scenes at the end of the game.

Barnsley Sports Academy is working in conjunction with Yorkshire Sport Foundation to help deliver its Further Education Ambassador Scheme.
The scheme is designed to identify students who want to pursue a career in Sports Development and Coaching, and work with them to encourage other students, who are not as active in sport, to participate on a regular basis.

Our Male First Team suffered a 2-1 defeat away from home against Calderdale this afternoon.
BSA controlled the first 15 minutes and deservedly took the lead, Billy Goose breaking the deadlock.
